Still Not Free

The Negro is still not free
The Negro
sadly crippled by
the manacles of
segregation.

They sing
of a promise.
That would be
guarenteed
life,liberty
and the
pursuit of happiness.

The time to lift our nation is
now.
To lift our nation to
the solid rock of
brother hood.

To lift our nation
from the state of
sweltering injustice
to an oasis of freedom and justice.
